On February 19th, BCKCers Heidi, Ben, John, Katja and Jeff headed over to Vancouver Island to take part in the Shack Attack Race, a 10 km open water race in beautiful Georgia Straight. Another tough day on Burnaby Lake... warm weather and calm winds, hee hee. This morning's paddling group consisted on Lauren (also C-1) and Rikst in C-2, Jeff in C-1, Katja, Heide, Brent and Keith in K-1.
Lynn and Hiede put on their best smiley faces after practise. January has been a record wet month, we are all looking forward to some dry paddling conditions, keep smiling... spring is just around the corner!
