April 1 Spring Long Distance Regatta

Despite the rather uncomfortable rain and cool temperatures on Saturday, the athletes put on some great performances at the 3rd annual BCKC Spring Long Distance Regatta. The 79 athletes and many officials and volunteers are to be congratulated and thanked for making this event such a success. BCKC would like to thank our generous prize donors: Helly Hansen, Westbeach, Deep Cove Kayak Center, Western Canoe & Kayak and Hansen Industries. The following clubs were represented by athletes at the regatta: Burnaby (13), False Creek (4), Fort Langley (13), Gig Harbor (19), Gorge (1), Kamloops (1), Nanaimo (1), Ocean River (2) and Ridge (25).
