New to Burnaby Canoe and Kayak Club is the BCKC Monday Knight Races, where racers compete for the coveted Green Knight Trophy. Racers compete as individuals or as teams in biathlon events of different distances incorporating paddling and running. The inaugural race was an individual event won by Jim. The second event was teams of 2 or 3 racers with the average time taken, the event was won by Kiran and Keith. Tonight's race was an 8 km paddle followed by a 3 km run with the team of Kiran, Heidi, Dan, Conor and Jeff finishing with the fastest average time.
