BCKC has just purchased a new BUK dragon boat in order to support our school dragon boating program, but before we could get the boat we had to help unload the 10 newly arrived BUKs. Darrell and John put their forklift operating skills to work to move the boats out of the container and then to unstack the boats. The entired operation took about 8 hours to complete and volunteer spirits remained high despite the best efforts of the rain to put a damper on the mood. Thanks to BCKCers Darrell, John, Graham, Catherine, Katja and Jeff for their time and effort. A huge thanks go out to James, Arnold and Andrew for their monumental efforts on the day, as well as to the Waters Edge and Sudden Impact groups for their tremendous contributions. Thanks also to Jeff's parents Roy and Maynetta for bailing us out by coming out on very short notice to assist in offloading the new BCKC dragon boat from the trailer at our temporary storage location.
