BCer places 3rd in World Cup Marathon Race

Victoria's Ian McKenzie took 3rd place in Saturday's 32.9 km senior men K1 World Cup marathon race in Denmark. Marathon kayaking is a under appreciated discipline within the Canadian flatwater racing community despite its strong following in many other countries around the world. Ian proudly represents Canada at many races, mostly throughout Europe, and pays for these trips out his own pocket. This is true passion for sport!
