BCKC at National Team Trials

BCKC athletes are continuing to make significant strides in their racing development as apparent with Kiran's competing in Canadian national team trials #3 this past weekend in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. Kiran was joined at the Lake Banook hosted event by BCKC Head Coach and Vancouver Regional Center Coach Lynn Dagenais. Kiran was in tough against some very fast competition but did well to accomplish her main goal of gaining valuable experience that will undoubtedly help her in future competitions. Lynn encourages our developing athletes to take advantage of opportunities to train with and compete against athletes from regions outsides our local paddling community. These experiences provide valuable feedback to the athletes and coaches as to how the athletes are developing relative to others of their age and experience level. Well done Kiran!
