War Canoe is a uniquely Canadian boat, which
holds 15 paddlers and has great history within this country. The War
Canoe Program is designed to teach the skills of War Canoe while
increasing fitness and developing a positive team environment.
The BCKC Adult War Canoe Team will be competing
against other clubs at the Masters Championships Regatta in September.
While the goal of competing at regattas is motivation for some of our
paddlers, we mostly just enjoy challenging ourselves with a fun and
exciting type of canoeing in a great environment.
