Advanced Training


For kids who are 14 to 17 years of age. This program works on refining the athletes paddling skills and places more emphasis on learning to race. Training will focus on sport specific endurance, strength and speed. At this level athletes should be competing in 4 to 7 regattas each year. Paddlers will often specialize in either canoe or kayak at this level.

Spring Session (April, May, June)

  • Monday 5:30pm to 7:00pm
  • Wednesday 5:30pm to 7:00pm
  • Friday 5:30pm to 7:00pm
  • Saturday 10:00am to 11:30am

Summer Session (July, August)

  • Monday 9:30am to 11:00am
  • Tuesday 9:30am to 11:00am
  • Wednesday 9:30am to 11:00am
  • Thursday 9:30am to 11:00am
  • Friday 9:30am to 11:00am

Fall Session (September, October)

  • Monday 5:30pm to 7:00pm
  • Wednesday 5:30pm to 7:00pm
  • Friday 5:30pm to 7:00pm
  • Saturday 8:00am to 11:00am

*Monday, Wednesday, Friday practices change to 4pm to 6pm at the beginning of October.

 Winter Session (November, December, January, February, March)

  • Saturday 10:00am to 11:30am
