Burnaby Canoe & Kayak Club (BCKC) is a non-profit sport organization. Our Constitution states that BCKC must be governed by 4 annually elected officers.

Policies and Codes of Conduct

The objective of Code of Conduct is to promote an environment that is both healthy and conducive to personal development of each individual practicing canoe/kayak, both on and off the water.It governs the relationship between the stakeholders involved in this sport. Without being exhaustive, it allows the Board of the Burnaby Canoe and Kayak Club to uniformly and objectively apply standards of conduct for all, and sanction misconduct if it occurs.
 
Paddlers, parents, coaches and administrators of the Burnaby Canoe and Kayak Club have the responsibility to ensure compliance with this Code.

BCKC is a non-profit organization that services our community with flatwater canoe and kayak opportunities, in a safe and positive environment lead by nationally certified coaches. We are supported by a committed group of members who volunteer their time and energy to share our passion for paddling. BCKC is a member of the provincial sport organization Canoe Kayak BC and the national sport organization Canoe Kayak Canada.

Burnaby Canoe and Kayak Club acknowledges that we operate on the traditional and unceded territory of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh people.
